Ministry Tools Resource Center is a non-denominational ministry founded in 1999 for the purpose of equipping believers and followers of Jesus Christ for ministry. Although the ministry itself is not affiliated with any particular church, it does hold to a set of beliefs that permeates the materials presented on the site. |

The most important tenet is that of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross as the only means of salvation. God's Word teaches that no amount of good works, church attendance, or personal charm is sufficient to bring you into a relationship with a holy God or to earn your way to heaven. "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast" (Eph. 2:8-9). | |||
Although located near Lancaster, Pennsylvania most of this ministry takes place across the United States and around the world through the use of the Internet medium. For this reason, and to keep overhead costs down, there is no storefront to visit but rather the ministry is brought to you through online ministry training and the sale of printed or downloadable resource materials for your ministry.
Committed to equipping teachers, leaders, and others serving within the local Christian church, Ministry Tools Resource Center provides the Body of Christ with the following services:
- Identification of the purpose of the church and the dynamic of body life in order to lay the foundation for ministry
- Assistance for both the individual and churches to serve according to spiritual gifting and to find their best fit in ministry
- Training to assist in the development of the various gifts within ministry areas that utilize the gifts
- Resources to further equip and provide ideas for effectively serving in the church
- Curriculum and training materials to enable the communication of these truths to others
Founder & Director of Ministry Tools Resource Center:
God is at the helm. His wisdom, direction, and empowerment are constantly sought in all that is done. His infallible, never changing Word is the standard for the policy and practices established by this organization.
Then there is Phyllis Kline whom He used to found and coordinate this ministry. Phyllis is a born again Christian who loves the Lord Jesus and consequently His church. She has provided consultation services and has taught seminars for churches, conventions, and Bible institutes in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and surrounding counties and states since the early eighties. Phyllis has also been actively involved in teaching and leadership ministries in the local church for about forty years, including the position of a full-time Director of Christian Education for four years. She has been directing the Ministry Tools Resource Center since 1999 and has written the content on this site. Phyllis has her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University and her B.S. from Philadelphia Biblical University. Her heart's passion is to see the church operate according to God's plan. She views Ephesians 4:16 as the blueprint for the spiritual growth of the Body --the body "builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

Ministry Tools Resource Center was begun on faith and continues to operate by faith. From its founding, a team of prayer supporters was enlisted to uphold this ministry and those who utilize it.
