Dealing with Unexpected Change
You might face unexpected changes in your ministry or be asked to do a ministry you haven’t done before.
Reactions: fears, anxieties, and insecurities
Remember: God has provided equipping resources through various means to help you but the most important resource is Himself and His divine power.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Cor. 9:8)
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service. (Eph. 4:11-12a)
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
May the God of peace … equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ. (Heb. 13:20-21)
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (2 Pet. 1:3)
Recourse: Avail yourself of the resources He provides.
