The overall objective of this course is to help people get involved in ministry, not simply to gain knowledge about spiritual gifts. You will find the following 8 lessons to guide that process:

Objective: to line up our individual lives and the church life to work within God's design for His church

Lesson 2: God's Ultimate Goal for the Church

Objective: to plan how to better function in ways that are conducive to the outworking of God's goals

Lesson 3: God's Tools to Accomplish His Goals

Objective: to identify the difference between fulfilling normal Christian responsibilities and operating within spiritual gifting

Lesson 4: God's Empowerment to Accomplish His Goals

Objective: to be able to discern the difference between operating out of gifting and out of human resources, and to yield all of who we are to God

Lesson 5: God's Enablement for All Believers

Objective: to open ourselves to the outworking of God's power through our lives on His terms and with His agenda

Lesson 6: God's Provision for Doing Ministry His Way

Objective: to evaluate what we do based on God's Word and the working of His Spirit and not on our experience alone

Lesson 7: God's Purposes Tie Into the Effect We Have on One Another

Objective: to look beyond our own needs and wants and learn to function as a team

Objective: to take steps to becoming a more purpose-driven church which operates within the sphere of spiritual gifting
