The Power of God at Work in the Church

Scripture is filled with verses and examples of the power of God at work in and through His people.  Below are three passages from which we can pull out some wonderful truths about God’s power.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Eph. 3:20-21)

 

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (2 Pet. 1:3)

 

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.  (Col. 1:10-12)

We cannot begin to comprehend all God wants to do in and through the church.  To think that an Almighty, infinite, eternal God would work through weak, finite beings is mind boggling.  Let’s not take it for granted.

Heavenly greetings servant of God ! is all well with you? indeed, i am brother Eric living testifying goodness of our lord Jesus. he is our ultimate father and a faithful God. his unfailing love is great & we appreciate him everyday. surely i have been staying connected to your website & get blessed with your effective & touching teachings that one should get a desire for. indeed you aren’t only blessing people of your ministry but entire world is listening to you & get blessed. i am really touched spiritually (Isa1-18) we pray God to uplift you to higher heights in his kingdom and expand your boundaries. actually, we are staying in perilous times of turmoil and everyone should live in watchfulness and sensitive in the spirit. truly, there is something that i am gaining from you & is causing a positive change in my life. also i have been encouraging brothers here get tuned to your sermons. if you have daily newsletters send them to me pastor. blessings to you all.
