Policy Making in the church is often perceived as . . .<\/p>\n

We have probably all experienced “red tape” due to established policies wherein you felt “boxed in” or like you couldn’t advance without “jumping through hoops.” Perhaps it felt rather legalistic.<\/p>\n

Policy Making in the Church, however, should be . . .<\/p>\n

enhancing and freeing.<\/p>\n

Policies should be our servant, not our master — to help us better serve the One who is our Lord. They should help us function the way God intended which is always best.<\/p>\n

Scripture clearly states that though we are indeed free, we’re to use that freedom to humbly and lovingly serve others<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. (Gal. 5:13)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tips to Develop Enhancing, Freeing Church Policies Minus the Red Tape<\/h2>\n

\"Church1) Have the right objectives<\/a> in developing the policies.<\/p>\n

2) Let God and His design for the Church be the parameters<\/a> for policy making.<\/p>\n

3) Keep an eye on the big picture<\/a>.<\/p>\n
