Certainly if God is greater than all other forces<\/a>, natural and supernatural, He is greater than all that pertains to you!<\/p>\n

We will never fully comprehend the magnitude of “his incomparably great power for us who believe” (Eph. 1:19)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

But, as we grow into a deeper understanding of how great He is, we will gain a peace and confidence to face whatever comes into our lives.<\/p>\n

How God is Greater Than All That Pertains to You<\/h2>\n

… greater than your circumstances<\/strong><\/p>\n

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Phil. 4:12-13)<\/em><\/p>\n

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Cor. 9:8)<\/em><\/p>\n

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? … No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (Rom. 8:35-37)<\/em><\/p>\n

… greater than your weaknesses<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isa. 40:29)<\/em>
\nBut he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:9)<\/em><\/p>\n

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Cor. 12:10)<\/em><\/p>\n

… greater than that which seems to confine or limit you<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Eph. 3:20-21)<\/em><\/p>\n

… greater than temptations that come your way<\/strong><\/p>\n

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Cor. 10:13)<\/em><\/p>\n

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. (Heb. 2:18)<\/em><\/p>\n

… greater than all your sin and\u00a0failures<\/strong><\/p>\n

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. (Ps. 103:11-12)<\/em><\/p>\n

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 Jn. 1:9)<\/em><\/p>\n

… greater than the condemnation and insecurities of our own heart<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. (1 Jn. 3:19-20)<\/em><\/p>\n

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. (Rom. 8:1-2)<\/em><\/p>\n

… greater than your fears and opposition you might face<\/strong><\/p>\n

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isa. 41:10)<\/em><\/p>\n

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isa. 41:13)<\/em><\/p>\n

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? (Ps. 118:6)<\/em><\/p>\n

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Heb. 13:6)<\/em><\/p>\n

The LORD is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid? (Ps. 27:1)<\/em><\/p>\n

The above Scripture verses speak for themselves about the difference it makes when we truly believe God is greater than all that pertains to us.<\/p>\n
