Jesus not only speaks about trouble in this world but also presents hope for both the future and for right now. Let’s take a look at what Jesus said.<\/p>\n

Jesus presents a realistic view of trouble.<\/h2>\n

He said, “In this world you will have trouble.” (Jn. 16:33)<\/p>\n

Jesus told the Father, “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” (Jn. 17:15)<\/p>\n

Jesus presents hope in the midst of trouble that should minister to our inner being.<\/h2>\n

He said, “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (Jn. 16:33)<\/p>\n

He also said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (Jn. 14:27)<\/p>\n

Jesus presents a better future that should affect how we handle trouble today in this world.<\/h2>\n

He said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” (Jn. 14:1-2)<\/p>\n
