Easter is a Demonstration of Who God Is
Easter is . . . a demonstration of God’s love and grace.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom. 5:8)

Easter is . . . a demonstration of God’s judgment on sin.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 6:23)

By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. (1 Cor. 6:14)

If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. (1 Cor. 15:23-24)
