The psalmist said, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Ps. 119:11). The word “hidden” means to store up or treasure. While the verse doesn’t specifically mention memorizing Scripture, that could certainly be a way of storing, or hiding, it in our hearts. Notice that the psalmist suggests one of the benefits of Scripture memory.

Scripture Memory is a Powerful Tool that Benefits Our Lives
